Recruitment in progress: we are looking for a chemist

CRS Laboratories, founded in 1994, is an analytical laboratory and consulting company based in Kempele, Finland. The company is specialized in laboratory services for exploration and mining industry, but it serves also other industries. We are opening the new laboratory to Outokumpu in spring 2021 and there we are looking for chemist for permanent contract.

Your job responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Development of analytical methods
• Commissioning and maintenance of analytical equipment
• Responsibility for laboratory quality
• Customer service and operation in the customer interface

We require the applicant to have a master's degree in chemistry suitable for the position and an interest in laboratory development work. In addition, we expect the applicant to have experience in inorganic analytical chemistry as well as knowledge of methods and equipment technology (e.g. ICP-OES, WD-XRF, Fire assay, combustion analyzes). The job also requires good oral and written English language skills as well as good IT skills. Experience in supervisory positions is considered an advantage.
